The city of Yucaipa didn't just want a pretty mural, they wanted to share a legacy of preservation. We designed a mural highlighting Yucaipa's immeasurable beauty, the migration of the painted lady butterflies and their city flower, the iris. To add to the challenge, the wall they chose had 12 different shaped windows on it--not an ideal mural wall. We created custom-fitting window screens that we painted on to keep the image consistent while still allowing the windows to be functional. No challenge too great to make incredible artwork!
